Production of custom-made orthoses and braces
Quality Production makes a wide range of different and sometimes highly specialised orthoses, made with high-quality components. Our range runs from simple orthoses to technically very advanced, dynamic systems.
Helmets and face masks
Neck and head orthoses must be light and sturdy. We can form helmets, neck collars and face masks from 'drawn' plastic, or manufacture them using lamination or 3D printing.
The protective helmet for people with epilepsy, an unstable gait or an intellectual disability leading to self-harm offers optimal protection of the head, face, chin and jaw.
A cranial remodelling helmet can be fitted when your patient is between five and seven months old. As the baby's head grows, the dimensions can be adjusted.
Custom face masks are becoming increasingly popular in the sports industry. We create a modern, uniform look that is perfect for any sport or activity. We make face protectors for top athletes, footballers, rugby players and everyone who needs protection for the nose and face.
Braces for elbow, wrist and hand
For day orthoses, night orthoses and functional orthoses for the elbow, wrist and hand, we use leather, plastic and lamination techniques or silicone. Resting splints are 3D printed.
Orthopaedic devices for the upper limbs are becoming ever more innovative thanks to modern technology. With our specialists in a modern workshop with a 3D printing lab, custom orthopaedic braces can be made and finished according to the individual needs and requirements of the patient.
With modern innovation and design, orthoses can now be finished so that they are both comfortable and stylish to wear.
Corsets
In the trunk orthoses category, plastic and leather TSLO braces are in highest demand. Orthopaedic corsets are designed to support and correct the spine and to reduce pain.
Cheneau corsets and elongation corsets with pneumatic pumps (QPEC) have meanwhile become a speciality.
For bandagists, we make lumbostats, abdominal belts and hernia belts.
Foot and leg orthoses
We make a wide range of orthoses for the lower limbs, each with its own specific function, material and design.
These range from epoxy resin foot lifters with or without a hinge to long leg braces with ischial seat, PTB orthoses, knee orthoses, and orthoses to correct the position of a leg and/or foot. Our night orthoses and post-operative knee orthoses (POKOs) are 3D printed and finished by hand.
Making foot and leg orthoses involves a wide range of materials and techniques. Each orthosis is designed specifically for its intended purpose, taking into account the patient's anatomy, lifestyle needs, medical history and more. The materials used can range from thermoplastics to carbon fibre composites, depending on the desired result.
Custom 3D-printed elongation corset
The stretching corset or elongation corset with pneumatic pump system, designed by Quality Production, is used to relieve pain in the spine.
It works by using air pressure to gently stretch the spine and increase its length.
The device consists of a 3D-printed corset and comes with an adjustable pump that can be set to deliver the desired amount of pressure.
Custom 3D POKO knee brace
We make custom post-operative knee orthoses. The 3D POKO is exceptionally light, has a modern design and offers a high level of wearing comfort.
We turn your impression into a digital model. Digital modelling, printing and assembly make the production process simpler, faster and more cost-effective.
The QP POKO knee brace is environmentally friendly. 3D technology generates less production waste.
Scoliosis corsets
The Cheneau corset and Boston brace we make are specialised orthopaedic corsets used to correct scoliosis. Wearing a scoliosis brace consistently ensures efficiency and success for the patient.
The Cheneau treatment was devised by Dr Jacques Cheneau. The corset has a unique and effective biomechanical design. An improved fit means more comfort, and a trendy finish makes it easier to stick to the brace treatment.
Long leg braces
The choice of material for making long leg braces is very diverse. Carbon, stainless steel, aluminium and titanium have much in common. Making long leg braces is a speciality.
The computer-controlled leg orthosis C-Brace® offers entirely new possibilities and freedom of movement. For example when bending the leg under load, when sitting down, when walking on slopes and uneven terrain or when going down stairs. New sensor technology makes the entire movement sequence even more dynamic and sensitive. The hinge is supported by a smartphone app.
Walking orthoses
We specialise in making walking-standing orthoses.
The HORS walker, an innovative invention by Quality Production.
The HORS is a revolutionary device on wheels that helps people with a physical disability to walk more easily and safely. It uses reciprocal stimulation to provide support and stability to people who have difficulty walking due to muscle weakness or paralysis. With this device, people with a physical disability can move around more freely and confidently, without having to worry about their safety or mobility.
The HORS – Help Orthosis with Reciprocal Stimulation – is a combination of a walking aid with a plastic corset with leg braces. Both the trunk orthosis and the frame are made completely to measure by us. Individually, for each patient.
Standing orthoses
Our standing orthoses and standing tables give your patient the ability to stand independently, thus avoiding problems caused by sitting for long periods.
Standing orthoses and standing tables are custom-made aids to help people with a mobility impairment. They provide support and stability, allowing people with paralysis or another physical disability to stand upright. Making these devices requires a combination of specialised knowledge, materials and craftsmanship to guarantee the highest level of comfort and safety for the user.
We will look into the needs of your client's specific disability or condition, so that we can design a custom standing orthosis or table that meets your patient's unique needs.
Seat shells
A seating orthosis or seat shell is an essential aid for children and adults who need extra support when sitting. It helps maintain a correct posture, reduces fatigue and discomfort and promotes healthy development.
We make seat shells to measure to fit your patient's body shape and size. You can additionally choose manual or electric bases.
Lying orthoses
Lying orthoses are custom-made orthopaedic aids designed to provide support, correction and stability to the body. A lying orthosis helps people with a variety of conditions such as cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, spinal cord injuries and the like.
The measuring protocol includes taking measurements, so that we can make a personalised device that fits your patient's body perfectly.
Become a customer of Quality Production
We offer standardised size & material cards to complement your plaster cast, drawing or 3D scan. A good and clear description and impression is the first step towards a great result.
The prescribing doctor, the orthopaedic provider and the patient who needs an orthopaedic device all have certain requirements for the aid (medical, functional, quality and aesthetic requirements). Additional consultation with the workshop may sometimes be needed to make your specific wishes or your patient's needs clear.
Quality Production makes a large range of orthoses, in various colours and materials. We offer combinations with leather, 3D-printed plastic or lamination techniques. We work according to ISO 13485 quality standards.
Our skilled and experienced professionals are happy to think along with you to find the best solution for your patient.
